RSV

It turns out that poor little Lucy has RSV. Thankfully, it's a fairly mild case, and she seems to be getting better every day. The last week has involved a lot of giving our kiddo whatever makes her happy. Currently, that involves providing her with a soft place to lounge...

...and easy access to anything in the house that has buttons for mashing. (no toy phones, please. Lucy prefers only button mashing that could result in an actual emergency response).

Sorry to hear that. I too had it, and about once every 1 or 2 years I come down with a really bad case of bronchitis that lasts almost a full day. Lucky for me, I had a lot of other sicknesses before I was even a year old, that my immune system is very stable and other than that the most I come down with is a cold.

No fun. It's so awful when they're sick and only understand that they feel awful, but don't know the reason. I think I'd rather be sick for like a month, than have Max sick for a week. It's tiring to have a sick kid. You have my sympathy.

That's so funny about the phone. We have an old one that is disconnected we gave him to play with, but he'd much rather play with the real one. Dialing the same number on a real one is just more fun, I guess.

Poor thing. Anna had RSV when she was 9 months old too and it was horrible. Breathing treatments every 4 hours, yucky medicine, and the worst part was the 3 weeks of quarantine. I have never loved going to Target as much as I did when that was over! Hope that Lucy and you can get out soon! Lots of love!

Awwww! Poor girl! This was a nasty RSV season. Evan and Allison both had it. And Evan was 2 and it was still really rough on him, poor Alli was just miserable. I hope it passes quickly! And yes, they do always know which remotes/phones/keyboards actually WORK. We've tried to fool Evan and it never ever works even if the item worked the day before, he seems to know.

I hope Lucy feels better, she looks like she is relatively happy. I hope she recovers quickly.

I love the fact that fake phones are not good enough, she definitely knows what she wants!

Sorry to hear that she has RSV. That's really going around in our area. I think you may be near our area, and it's the same epidemic. Hope she gets better soon. This warmer weather should help, I hope.

Hope Lucy's doing better by now.

These little guys are too smart for their own good--they want all the things they see us adults "playing" with, forget that baby stuff.
