Lucy got an adorable snowsuit, coat, hat and mittens for Christmas, which was fortuitous, since it didn't seem to ever stop snowing over the holidays. I took her out in it, and I'm not sure what exactly I was expecting (frolicking?) since she's pretty much rendered immobile by all of the layers of clothing, not to mention the 2+ feet of snow. It went a little something like this:

Yay! Snow! Fun!

And it falls from the SKY? Insane!

Thump.

I am SO over this. Seriously, where's my hot chocolate?

It's almost as good as the suit in the Christmas story movie! Good thing that Lucy is super cute. I wish I was such a cute snow bunny. How fun, we are DYING for snow here. We have a great sledding hill and have only been out 2 or 3 times total. Blah.
That "Thump" picture is cracking me up. I can't believe you got a picture of it, I would have been laughing too hard to keep the camera steady!
That is the coolest series of pictures. Perfect capture of reality with babies and snow!
I love the "thump" picture too. I had the same experience with Max this year - last year he loved the snow, this year not so much. I figured he'd start frolicking in all the snow - nope, he just kept pointing at the house. I think you captured the whole toddler-snow experience perfectly. And I think I'm starting to catch the spring bug...
She is a doll. I love your blog! We're kinda in the same boat - one little girl to ooh and awe over! Mine turned 2 at the end of September. Aren't they a blast! I went through major depression when Natalie turned two - but now I'm lovin' it! She is a blast and says the funniest things ever. Don't worry, each stage is wonderful - even if they ARE getting older.
