The cuteness is unbearable

I'm not a big fan of Kiddie Kandid-style photography chains for a multitude of reasons, and since I can't seem to talk Lauriann in to following Lucy around with a camera all day, Lucy's stuck with me for the picture taking. Yesterday we set up our own little photo shoot, and Lucy got to feel even more like the center of the universe than usual.

My goodness, she is so cute! Your photoshoot turned out fantastic. That closeup is beautiful.

Why do you hate Kiddie Kandids? We get most of Jonah's professional pictures there. They've done a good job thus far. Although I do prefer candids... I'm just a bad photographer.

You did wonderful! I love the soft color and tons. Very cute for Lucy. It makes her face and hair pop. I can't decide which is my favorite. :)

Oh, and to help you explain why chain photo places aren't worth your time, this is how one neighbor described it to me. She loved the Kandid photo of her son, all proped on a pillow, till she saw the exact same shot with her neighbor's baby. So, if you want the same stuff everyone has, then go to Kandid. I, on the other hand, want a photo record of my child that is unique and shows what a day in his life is like.

Very very cute! I really want to get an SLR camera for my birthday! Which do you have? It seems to do a great job (of course it's probaly your skill doing most of it!).

Hooray! I'm glad you found us. We'll have to get together for dinner or something and let our 2 girls play together. It'd be a blast!

I totally agree with you about the Kiddie Kandids pictures. They just can't capture kids' personalities as well. Plus, those fake backdrops and little props are pretty lame. Who do they think they're fooling when they have the beach picture backdrop and give the baby a beach ball to hold? No thank you.

Anyway, I've been meaning to comment on your blog. Lucy is such a doll!

Your child has the most beautiful eyes! She is so adorable that I end up visiting this page from time to time to see the new pics!

Magic. She looks so beautiful. I don't know how you get that much light indoors, seriously, what kind of camera do you use? Nice work.
