Backyard fun

One of the things I'm really sad about leaving when we move is our backyard. It's not going to win any landscaping awards, but it is a perfect yard for a kid. There are big trees, little shaded nooks and crannies to explore, a hill to roll down, and tons of flowers, birds and bugs. For whatever reason, we haven't really spent that much time out there with Lucy until this year. Today I took a break from my frantic moving schedule (and Lucy from her frantic Mickey Mouse Clubhouse watching schedule) to hang out in the backyard and play in some dirt.

Still wondering about that hedge problem. email me how that all worked out!
Really I love the one where her pants are literally falling off her body! We are going to miss you more than you'll miss your backyard baby!

I love that you are still carrying on with this "moving" charade. I really, really need to come play this week. Or soon or whatever. I can bore you with my new mom chatter while you continue the farce of putting things in boxes. Oh- and I want Lucy's eyelashes. Do you use a conditioner on those or something? Painfully cute as always.

Oh! Those eyelashes in that first picture! I agree with the previous commenter - I want them too! I love watching my little guy play in the backyard, too - it's fun to watch them discover the tiniest of things. Lucy is getting so big - what a pretty little girl!

I love the fact that her shorts are halfway down her bum and she doesn't care! I'm sure it's stressful to be moving with no husband to help. Where in WA are you moving?
