Lucy has the best time at her Grandma and Grandpa's house. One of her favorite things to do is to splash in the sink and make a giant mess, which, of course, she is totally allowed to do with abandon.

I think I've said this about every age so far, but seriously? 13 months has to be my favorite time yet. She is ridiculously awesome. Love, love, love this kid.

Old news

We took a trip to Colorado in June for our niece's wedding (we drove, and I can report with authority that 8 hours in a car with an 12 month old is about as awesome as it sounds). Besides the drive, the trip was great, and I just realized I had never posted any pictures. So here you go...

August already?

July was a really busy month, and my camera card is holding an uncharacteristically low number of new pictures of Lucy. Regardless, I did manage to catch a few moments. Isn't she looking all grown up? Boo. But she's still insanely adorable, even with all the newfound maturity, and seriously, she just gets to be more fun every day (which I'm told I should enjoy, since apparently that comes to an end in about 6 months. It's hard to believe, since she's pretty much the most enjoyable little creature in the world right now. We shall see).
